Recht auf Rausch!
Tasting session with Christoph Keller
Art publisher, editor and curator Christoph Keller will be hosting a tasting session featuring 15 selected fruit brandies from his Stählemühle distillery. Keller has achieved considerable success in his new career path. His distillery has been ranked by Destillata and Gault Millau as one of the 50 best in Europe. A two-time winner of the Goldenes Stamperl prize, the distillery has won 72 awards for its fine spirits and brandies over the past two years.
Keller’s distillery specialises in producing small batches of exceptional brandies for connoisseurs from rare wild fruit varieties, in addition to making classics such as "Zibärtle", "Ribisl" and "Türkenkirsch". A selection of finest quality liqueurs, bitters and fruit spirits complete the range of Stählemühle’s offerings.
In a three-hour, guided tasting session that includes a slide show, sensory training and sampling of 15 selected fruit brandies, Keller will introduce participants to the world of fine spirits, the diversity of our region’s cultivated and wild fruit varieties, and the history of distilling – and prove that distilling is rightly considered an art.
